Expandable arms stretch out to fit any size head and can be worn over glasses, projecting a small heads-up-display via Si-OLED that outputs via an attached controller device.
Pilots will now have to have their eyes on the drone at all times, which for commercial and other enterprise level activities, means expensive POV helmets are now relegated to obsolescence within those spaces. With these glasses, you can actively have your drone's app running via the controller, while also having a bi-focal view of the drone in the distance. Moverio's image is quite small when compared to the view of the FPV goggles available, but this is by design.
Rather than covering your entire view, you get a clear line of sight of your drone, while also a clear line of sight of the app and the information provided. You'll be able to take POV pictures with the 5MP camera on the front, as well as connect the device to multiple things via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Miracast. Epson have also fitted the Moverio device with an Moverio App Store, with dedicated apps built for the Moverio glasses.
